Is this the right photo?
For those of little faith.

Just joking with the photos.
You may think I am telling lies and guilty of other things you despise.
I don’t believe in a God made to look like me.
That bribes us with promises of eternity.
So I am bared from heaven for this alone.
By an Almighty God that makes it known.
He is jealous and revengeful as well,
Casting all non-believers into hell.
Threatening our kids will suffer too, for the misdeeds that we do.
I don’t want to go to a boring heaven.
Where there’s peace and quiet 24/7.

The photos are fun my words are dead serious.
Those that do believe I implore.
Don’t wreck my world with your holy war.
This is the only heaven I know.
There is no other place to go.
To be good you don’t need commanding.
All you need is understanding.
Enjoy a simple life free from arguments, trouble and strife.
Appreciate the gifts in the here and now.
They are all you have anyhow.

Gifts a bound big and solid all around.
To look after the gifts take conscious care.
No greed or hate, we must love and share.
I do not care what God you chose.
I am not walking in your shoes.
If I were standing were you stand.
Then perhaps I might understand.

Small gifts worth noticing and appreciating.
No one is evil in my book.
It is the wrong path they took,
Jews, Christians, Muslims as well.
Their family feud makes life a hell.
They make up stories to understand,
What is beyond the intellect of man.

Photos are fun depends how look at them.
You are brilliant Jack.
Thank you Cindy for your reassurance, I was beginning to think I was the only one aware, I am not referring to my brilliance, I am referring the subject matter of my poem.
Although my ego is happy to think I am brilliant. Another win win situation. _/\_
This is fantastic Jack.
The tree is very Beautiful .
It is a tree with beautiful personality.
I think you seen its body language too.
What was it saying to you?
Hi Jack it was saying that I am strong and I stand tall, I give fresh air to breath. Trees need a hug and I love to just admire them.
Enjoy your week ahead. Sheila
The tree spoke to me too Sheila. Pleased you understood what it was saying. _/\_
Interesting continuity of your views, Jack. Nice pics and nicer thoughts.
The last two words of your comment ‘nice thoughts’ is what I like to hear Raj. They reassure me I am understood and not alone in my thinking. _/\_
Brilliant!
Thanks for your endorsement .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVg2EJvvlF8 _/\_

Good Morning dear Jack.. 🙂 Always do I enjoy your poems, and this is no exception.. Many forget that it was man who wrote the many books filled with the words of faith..for those who feel the need to follow them blindly..
Yet those words so contradict what the meaning of love is all about.. We are forgiven on the one hand, Yet are condemned on the other hand, Rules for one and Rules for others..
I think both you and I dear Jack understand the only rule which should apply.. Is the very one so many seek to find.. and yet it is the very least they follow..
To treat each other as we ourselves would wish to be treated.. I wonder why the human race finds this so hard to achieve? When our name’s sake holds it constantly within our view..
Man-KIND! can be so Cruel to his own species..
Wonderful to catch up with your poetry and thoughts dear Jack.. 🙂

Jack! That selfie in the holiday bulb was great – and the bike photo – half into the sign – is very artsy!
And I liked your poem – and do not want to really go there on the topic of religion – Except to say that Christmas is the worse time for folks to evangelize for many reasons – argh!
Finding the right photo is the difficult part. I am pleased you liked my choices and let me know you liked my poem.
My mother always said religion and politics are touchy subjects.
As they say ‘fools like me rush in where angles fear to tread.’
The irony is angles should fear nothing. _/\_
Your mother was so right! I also add to religion and politics the topics of money and maybe even sex! Seems sometimes certain topics are off – but I can see why the religion one is because people get all crazy with their approach and “some” end up living elite and angry lives – with no love –
Anyhow – have a good day and be back to peek around the blog later this week – ttys
