Carpe Diem.
Enjoy the day, do not fritter it away. Not to appreciate what you are given is an insult to the provider. Be grateful for all the priceless gifts that have been given to us free of cost.
The ocean and the beach are far better than any man-made pool to bathe in. Be grateful for the fresh air, the blue sky, the sunshine and the sandy beach.
The world is vast with so much to see and do. No matter where you are there are wonders to behold and things to enjoy. Do not waste your time on status symbols. Spend your time wisely.
“But pleasures are like poppies spread,
You seize the flower the bloom is shed;
Or like the snow fall on the river,
One moment white then lost forever.”
Robert Burns, From Tam O’shanter.
‘Waking up this morning, I smile,
Twenty-four brand new hours are before me.
I vow to live fully in each moment and look at all beings with compassion.’
Thich Nhat Hanh. Incidentally he has another book out called “Savour“ I enjoy all his writing.
If one does not appreciate their body they will not be able to enjoy all the many blessings to the full. If man does not appreciate all natures gifts they will diminish. This is our opportunity to seize this day with loving open arms.
Brilliant Jack,, and I am going to seize the day in a few moments as the Sun has now come out and it happens to be a little warmer today… I Just hung out the washing and spent 15 just looking in our small fish pond… At the Gold fish and the frogs peeking up between the pond weed… Enjoying nature is there in all its forms Jack… and we all of us need to appreciate it more…. Wonderful Post as always xox
We are off again in two days.
So we are both doing all the tidy up jobs in the garden and around.
I do my last day at this gym tomorrow and swim at the beach.
There are just not enough hours in the day.
I only post when I have time my first prioetry is to keep following my blog friends posts.
I get inspiration and learn a lot following.
We all help one another as we all have different talents.
Wishing you well in your new Adventures Jack and I am smiling big time as to your wonderful outlook and enthusiasm to living life as it should be lived..
Life IS Wonderful… we just have to realise that ‘WE’ are the ones that have to embrace it and make it so..
Have a wonderful day at the Gym and the Beach and Enjoy every second!…

ah yes! seize the day! what a great post, amigo!
last night i stepped outside and seized the evening! i gazed up at a carl-sagan sky, connected with mother earth and drank in the beauty of the moment. i mentally cut away the negative cords and freed myself from a few issues that were pulling my aura down… when i returned inside, i felt invincible!
yes, seize the day and also seize the evening!

Dogs have many attributes one that is not always realised is they get us out walking. Children are the same they give us a reason to go to the beach and make sand castles.
